Detailed introduction to the internal thread and socket welding gate valves produced by RTV Ruitong Valve:
There are three types of valve cover designs for internal threaded and socket welded gate valves. The first type is a bolt type valve cover, which is connected by a concave convex surface and uses stainless steel strip and flexible graphite winding gasket. Ring connection can also be used according to requirements. The second type is a welded valve cover, which is sealed by threads and welded, and can also be directly welded according to requirements. The third type is a self sealing valve cover, which is connected to the self sealing valve cover by threads.
Structural design and specifications for internal threaded and socket welded gate valves:
The manufacturing of internal threaded and socket welded gate valves shall comply with API 602, BS5352, and ANSI B16.34.
Testing and acceptance shall be in accordance with API 598, and identification shall be in accordance with MSS SP-25.
The structural types of internal threaded and socket welded gate valves are as follows:
1. Full bore or reduced bore;
2. Exposed pole with bracket;
3. The filling sleeve with automatic centering at both ends;
4. Bolted valve covers with spiral wound gaskets, threaded sealed welded valve covers, or self sealing valve covers;
5. Inverted sealing of the body;
6. Socket welding ANSI/ASME B16.11;
7. The threaded end (NPT end) shall comply with ANSI/ASME B1.20.1.
